Daniel Fox was an Assistant District Attorney in the Suffolk County District Attorney’s office from 2013 to 2019. He served in the District Court Bureau and the East End Bureau gaining extensive trial experience prosecuting thousands of serious criminal and vehicular offenses. Dan was also in the Enhanced Prosecution Bureau and was responsible for investigating Suffolk County gangs and the prosecution of serious felony offenses including narcotics and violent crimes.
Dan worked in the District Attorney’s Case Advisory Bureau where he was responsible for the investigation and assessment of felony crimes and provided legal advice to state and local law enforcement agencies throughout Suffolk County. He has presented numerous cases to the grand jury and prepared search warrants and subpoenas to collect evidence used to convict dangerous criminals in our communities.
Dan’s final post in the District Attorneys office was the Gang Unit of the Enhanced Prosecution Bureau where he was responsible for the prosecution and investigation of criminal offenses involving narcotics, firearms and confirmed street gang members.
